The Job: On behalf of our client we are seeking an Electrical Estimator. In this role responsibilities will include: Lead daily organisation of incoming / outgoing enquiries Produce accurate and high-quality tender bids in line with the commercial governance process Support, maintain, develop and build the estimating department alongside procurement Owner for the mechanical element of the estimating function Identify potential opportunities to increase revenue and margin, feeding leads through to the sales function Responsible for production of detailed tender bids, attending tender meetings and conducting post tender handover meetings - supporting the company’s growth development plan Maintain supplier, subcontract and the estimating database Assess tender opportunities to ensure adequate information is available Prepare supplier and subcontractor enquiries, evaluating quotes upon return Take off quantities of materials and apply labour values accordingly Provide core costs and...
