The company operates as a specialist M&E contractor with strong design and build capability, delivering fast-track commercial projects across London and the surrounding areas. Known for their collaborative approach and consistent project delivery, they have built long-standing relationships with clients across the commercial office, education, and mixed-use sectors.
The Role Electrical Estimator You will be responsible for pricing electrical packages typically ranging from £500k to £2m, as part of wider commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
Working closely with the pre-construction team, you will be involved from initial enquiry through to final submission, ensuring accurate and competitive tenders.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing tender documentation including drawings and specifications
Producing accurate electrical take-offs and cost plans
Issuing enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors
Analysing and comparing quotations
Attending internal tender review and adjudication meetings
Preparing detailed tender submissions including clarifications and exclusions
Supporting post-tender negotiations where required
Requirements Experience working as an Electrical Estimator within M&E Building Services
Proven experience pricing commercial projects, ideally within fit-out or refurbishment
Stable employment history, demonstrating commitment and reliability
Strong technical understanding of electrical systems within commercial environments
Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
This role would suit candidates currently working as: Electrical Estimator, Intermediate Electrical Estimator, M&E Estimator, Electrical Cost Planner.
