ASAP We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our team, specialising in LV/MV. This is a field-based role, the successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Install and commissioning of LV/MV switchgear systems, including functional testing, protection relay configuration, and system integration

Perform pre-commissioning checks, insulation resistance testing, and fault diagnostics

Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

Liaise with clients, project managers, and internal teams to support smooth project delivery

Provide technical support and fault-finding during and after commissioning

Carry out Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to customer specifications

Complete commissioning reports, test records, and technical documentation

Participate in site surveys, risk assessments, and method statement preparation

Support the training and mentoring of junior engineers and technicians when required

Skills & Experience Required

ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification

Experience commissioning LV/MV switchgear

Experience working with protection relays

Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to travel (UK and occasional international travel) and work flexible hours, including weekends when required

Full UK driving licence
