Full-Time | 4 On / 4 Off (Days) | £40,000 - £45,000

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable, well-rewarded role with excellent benefits and work-life balance?

We're looking for a skilled engineer to join our team, helping to keep our production equipment running efficiently and reliably. If you enjoy fault finding, problem solving, and improving machinery performance, this could be the role for you.

\n\nThe Role\n

You'll be responsible for planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a wide range of equipment, including:

\n

\n \n Screw extruders

\n

\n

\n Classifiers

\n

\n

\n Blenders & mixers

\n

\n

\n Vacuum pumps

\n

\n

\n Water pumps

\n

\n

\n

You'll also carry out on-site electrical installation work (sockets, lighting, emergency lighting) and support continuous improvement by making mechanical and electrical modifications to improve reliability and efficiency.

\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential:\n

\n \n Time-served maintenance engineering apprenticeship

\n

\n

\n NVQ Level 3 / ONC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering

\n

\n

\n Minimum 5 years' experience in an electrical maintenance role

\n

\n

\n Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings

\n

\n

\nHighly Desirable:\n

\n \n Control panel fault finding (new & legacy systems)

\n

\n

\n Control panel modifications/upgrades

\n

\n

\n PLC fault finding and programming

\n

\n

\n Inverter parameter setup and modification

\n

\n

\n 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations

\n

\n

\n City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing

\n

\n

\n

Candidates with additional technical expertise may be considered at the top end of the salary range.

\n \n £40,000 - £45,000 salary (depending on experience)

\n 12-hour day shifts (7am - 7pm)

\n

\n 4 days on / 4 days off rotation

\n

\n

\n 25 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
