Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Double Days- Tewkesbury
Salary: £41,315.40 (Inclusive of Shift Allowance)
Monday–Friday | 37.5 Hours | Rotating Double Days
Week 1: 6:00am – 1:30pm
Week 2: 1:30pm – 9:00pm
Kingston Barnes is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly reputable manufacturing business for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their production team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation operating within a fast-paced print and finishing environment, where engineering plays a critical role in driving production performance and continuous improvement.
The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work closely with production teams to carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support across print and print-related machinery. You will play a key role in minimising downtime, improving engineering processes, and enhancing overall equipment effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance to a high standard
Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns and repair requests
Support and train print minders to enhance maintenance practices
Implement and deliver PPM training across finishing departments
Drive improvements to existing maintenance and engineering processes
Reduce equipment downtime and maintain optimal spare parts inventory levels
Develop and improve spare parts processes (including Kanban systems where required)
Accurately record all engineering activities using the Electronic Maintenance Management System
Manage spare parts ordering and stock control
Support overall machinery performance and production output
About You
Essential:
City & Guilds qualified with HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certificate
Desirable:
Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Mechanical engineering knowledge
Experience with PLCs, AC/DC motors, drives and controllers
Ideally background within print or packaging environments
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
IPAF (Working at Heights)
Organised, adaptable and proactive approach to breakdown response
Good IT skills and experience using maintenance management systems
What’s on Offer
£41,315.40 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)
37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday double days
26 days holiday plus bank holidays
