We are seeking a dependable and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team on an ongoing contract basis within a demanding manufacturing environment. You will work on a rotating 3-shift pattern, carrying out maintenance on high-duty production machinery and electrical systems to minimise downtime and maintain safe, efficient operations. This role will be based just outside of Nottingham.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on heavy industrial plant and production equipment.\n\nDiagnose electrical faults and implement effective, timely repairs.\n\nWork on motors, VSDs (Variable Speed Drives), 3-phase systems, and safety relays as part of routine maintenance and breakdown response.\n\nEnsure all work complies with site safety standards, regulations, and electrical legislation.\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in heavy industry (concrete manufacturing, aggregates, cement, quarry or similar).\n\nStrong understanding of motors, VSDs, 3-phase electrical systems, and safety relays.\n\nSolid fault-finding skills on industrial electrical equipment and PLC-based systems.\n\nRelevant electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).\n\nAbility to work independently across shifts with a strong focus on safety and compliance.\n\nContract & Pay\n\nOngoing contract - outside IR35\n\nMonday to Friday - rotating 3-shift pattern (Monday-Friday (phone number removed)\n\nApprox.
