Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician (x2) Horsham, West Sussex £47,521.38 rising to £50,836.91 after probation 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) + 24 days annual leave An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Shift Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join a leading UK waste and recycling operation in Horsham. This is a fantastic chance to be part of a forward-thinking engineering team focused on plant reliability, continuous improvement, and high safety standards. The Role You will be responsible for maximising plant availability by carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and continuous improvement projects. Working within a shift-based engineering team, you will ensure high operational standards, compliance, and health & safety best practice at all times. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high plant availability and efficient breakdown response
Diagnose faults and carry out effective electrical repairs
Implement and develop PPM schedules to minimise downtime
Record recurring xehkeey faults and develop engineered solutions
Carry out minor maintenance on plant and equipment
Liaise with external contractors where required
Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
