We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a market leading manufacturing business based in PrestonThis is a permanent role that has been created due to continued expansion and business growth. The Business have also recently invested in new systems and processes for the site to improve and develop the maintenance processes within the team.The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background working within an FMCG / Industrial maintenance based role within a manufacturing environment. Experience within PLC Fault Finding is a must. Experience working with Hydraulics/ Pneumatics / Motors/ pumps/ Conveyors is also advantageousThis is a shift based role working 4 on 4 off (2 Days 6AM - 6PM + 2 Nights 6PM - 6AM)Candidates must be time served with a demonstrable background in Electrical Maintenance.Role DescriptionTo ensure all equipment is in a safe & serviceable condition to maintain & enhance performance of all machineryReduce engineering downtime, respond rapidly to machine failures & breakdownsUndertake projects and assist with all on-site installationsTo always keep open and clear lines of communication with management and fellow colleaguesTo undertake, develop & improve planned maintenance schedulesTo prioritise work within the engineering department & deploy resources accordinglyTo identify training needs or weak spots within the departmentTo ensure all equipment is in a safe & serviceable condition to maintain & enhance performance of all machinery within the corrugating / conversion plantSkills and QualificationsDemonstrable experience working within a maintenance role within a Fast pacedmanufacturing environmentCandidates must be Time Served with a demonstrable background in Electrical MaintenanceFamiliar with Siemens PLCs Fault FindingKnowledge of Mechanical systems including Conveyors/ Hydraulics/ Pneumatics/ Motors/ PumpsStrong communication skills.This vacancy is being advertised by Complete Talent Services Ltd who are acting as an Employment AgencyJBRP1_UKTJ
