Are you an electrically biased maintenance professional with experience supporting manufacturing or production environments? We're recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Manager to take ownership of site-wide electrical maintenance, ensuring plant, equipment and infrastructure operate safely, reliably and efficiently.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role combining technical expertise, people management and continuous improvement.
The Role As Electrical Maintenance Manager, you will lead all electrical maintenance activities across the site, supporting production uptime and compliance while driving improvements in reliability and performance. You'll work closely with operations and engineering teams to plan, prioritise and deliver preventative and reactive electrical maintenance, while coordinating internal technicians and external contractors.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all electrical maintenance activities within a production environment Ensure electrical plant, machinery and site infrastructure are maintained to a high standard Drive preventative maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and improve reliability Support compliance with electrical safety, health & safety, and environmental regulations Diagnose and resolve electrical faults on production equipment and site services Manage electrical breakdowns, repairs and improvement projects Coordinate and supervise external electrical contractors when required Develop and track maintenance KPIs to improve performance and efficiency Champion continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance and operations Support capital projects, upgrades and electrical installations What We're Looking For Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills Experience leading or coordinating maintenance teams Knowledge of preventative maintenance planning and reliability strategies Good understanding of electrical safety standards and compliance requirements Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational setting Strong communication and organisational skills Qualifications & Experience Electrically qualified (NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND or equivalent) Minimum 3 years' experience in an electrical maintenance or engineering role Experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment is essential 18th Edition qualification desirable but not essential Why Apply? £50,000 salary Key leadership role with real influence on site performance Opportunity to drive improvements and shape maintenance strategy Stable, permanent position within a production-focused environment Work closely with senior operations leadership To Apply For more information or to apply, please contact: Lewis Phillips 01582 369359
