Night Shift Engineer – 4 on 4 off - Exciting Commercial Building –Tottenham Court Road, London – £50,000 Per annum\n\nExciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in London. CBW is currently recruiting for a night shift engineer to be based at a large commercial building by Tottenham Court Road. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified electrical or mechanical engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance and be able to turn their hand to a variety of maintenance tasks.
He or she will be required to carry out electrical or mechanical planned and reactive maintenance / Installation across this large static site. Working within a team of two, he or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. In return, the company offers a competitive salary, further training, overtime and the chance to work at this unique and interesting site.\n\nPackage & Hours of Work \n\nUp to £50,000\n4 on 4 off, Shift Pattern 08:00 am to 20:00 pm\nUniform and Tools Provided\nCycle to work scheme\n20 days holiday\nOvertime Available\nPension\nInternal Progression & Development \n\n Key Duties & Responsibilities\n\nEscort specialist subcontractors\nEnsure that the Contractual efficiently meets all the relevant KPI & SLA requirements.\nUndertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.\nBe proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.\nBe proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.\nMaintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.\nReport service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.\nRemain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.\nCarry out Electrical PPM's and reactive maintenance \nLighting – lamp changes, ballast changes, simmtronic/Phillips lighting\nEmergency light testing\nPower distribution\nElectrical fault-finding\nSmall works – new sockets, new lights, new circuits\nMonitor mechanical plant\nPumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings\nAir Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)\nWater Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)\nPlumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc \n\n Requirements\n\nElectrical qualified level 2&3 (C&G, NVQ etc) with 18th Edition or Mechanically qualified level 2 (C&G, NVQ etc)\nExperience working in a large commercial building\nYou must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)\nA proven track record in commercial building maintenance\nMulti-skilled\nGood communication skills\nExcellent customer skills\nMust be able to get to the site for 08:00 am startPlease send your CV to Charlie Long of CBW Staffing Solutions to avoid missing out on this role
