This role suits an engineer who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced project environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for developing and managing Electrical Construction Work Packs (CWPs) that meet all technical, safety, and regulatory standards. These work packs will support subcontractor coordination, installation activities, commissioning, and project closeout.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop accurate, compliant EC&I CWPs for multiple design packages.
* Prepare all supporting documentation including drawings, specifications, ITPs, RAMS, and procedures.
* Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work remains within budget and programme constraints.
* Plan and coordinate EC&I installation and commissioning activities with project managers and construction teams.
* Ensure all subcontractor resources and materials are available ahead of CWP execution.
* Identify risks early and implement mitigation measures to avoid delays or safety issues.
* Maintain regular communication across internal teams on scope, deliverables, and timelines.
* Provide progress updates to the EC&I Engineering Lead.
* Chair weekly subcontractor meetings to drive progress.
* Ensure all handover documentation is completed to the required standards.
* Make informed technical decisions to support the successful delivery of the project.
Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in EC&I engineering, including at least 2 years in hazardous environments (oil & gas, petrochemical, nuclear, etc.).
* Degree/MSc/HNC/HND in Electrical, EC&I, or relevant engineering discipline.
* CEng or IEng (desirable but not essential).
* Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
* Proficient in IT tools including MS Office.
* Self‑motivated and able to meet project deadlines.
Package
* Salary: £60,000–£65,000
* Car Allowance: £5,500
