Electrical Project Manager / Project Engineer\n\nContract: £45-£55 per hour\n Hours: Monday-Friday (Days)\n Location: North West\n\nGap Technical is recruiting an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Project Engineer to support electrical projects across multiple FMCG food manufacturing facilities.\n\nRole Overview\n\nYou will manage electrical projects from design through to installation and commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required safety and quality standards. The role includes team leadership, client liaison, estimating, and full P&L responsibility.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDeliver electrical projects from inception to completion\nPlan labour, order materials, and manage site activities\nLead and supervise electrical teams (2-10 operatives)\nAct as main client contact and manage stakeholder relationships\nProduce estimates, quotations, and tender submissions\nOversee installations and fault resolution\nGenerate RAMS and ensure compliance with BS 7671 and NICEIC standards\nManage project budgets and financial performanceTechnical Experience\n\nStrong FMCG manufacturing background\nLV power distribution, lighting, and local power systems\nControl systems, panels, drives, valves, sensors, and instrumentation\nExperience with process equipment such as conveying, cooking, cooling, packing, robotics, and palletising (desirable)Requirements\n\nApprentice trained Electrical Engineer\n17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations\nMinimum 10 years' FMCG electrical/project experience\nProven project and team management experience\nStrong commercial and client-facing skillsDesirable\n\n2391 Inspection & Testing\nECS Manager (Black Card)\nNEBOSH / SSSTS or similarApply\n\nClick Apply Now to submit your CV.\n\nGap Technical operates as an employment business and is committed to equal opportunities
