Job Title: Electrical Shift Engineer (Days Only)\nLocation: City of London\nSalary: £48,000 per annum + Overtime\n\nJob Type: Full-Time | Permanent\nShift Pattern: 12-hour shifts | Days only | 7:00am – 7:00pm\n\nOverview:\n\nWe are currently recruiting for a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join a high-profile commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable days-only shift role within a professional facilities maintenance environment.\n\nWorking as part of an on-site engineering team, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems and associated building services across the site.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.\n\n * \n\n Fault finding and repair on building services equipment.\n\n * \n\n Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures and compliance standards.\n\n * \n\n Respond to engineering faults and breakdowns efficiently.\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.\n\n * \n\n Support general building services maintenance when required.\n\n * \n\n Work collaboratively with the wider engineering and facilities team.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).\n\n * \n\n Experience working in commercial building services or facilities maintenance environments.\n\n * \n\n Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of electrical systems, plant equipment, and building services.\n\n * \n\n Good communication skills and ability to work within a shift team.\n\nSalary & Benefits:\n\n * \n\n £48,000 annual salary\n\n * \n\n 12-hour shifts – Days only (7:00am – 7:00pm)\n\n * \n\n Overtime available\n\n * \n\n 20 days holiday\n\n * \n\n Company pension scheme\n\n * \n\n Private medical healthcare\n\n * \n\n Training and career progression opportunities\n\nApply:\n\nIf you are an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer looking for a days-only role in the City of London with strong benefits and progression opportunities, we would love to hear from you.\n\nApply today to be considered
