The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Site Manager to join a growing team delivering commercial lighting, Solar PV, and battery storage projects.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will play a key role in managing day-to-day site operations and supporting successful project delivery across multiple locations in the UK.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support project and operational management, including technical input on design and procurement
  • Conduct pre-tender site surveys
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, health & safety standards, and internal policies
  • Coordinate materials and logistics with internal teams
  • Oversee installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality before project handover
  • Inspect completed installations and resolve technical challenges
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients on-site
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in standards and processes
  • Provide hands-on support to installation teams when required
  • Travel regularly to sites across the UK


About You

Essential:

  • C&G 2360 Part 1 & 2, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent
  • C&G 2394 & 2395 or 2391
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • Solar PV qualifications (e.g. C&G 2922, BPEC, or equivalent Level 3 in Solar PV/EESS)
  • SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme)
  • ECS Card
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience leading installation teams and subcontractors
  • Strong experience with commercial and industrial grid-tied Solar PV systems in the UK
  • Solid knowledge of Solar PV systems, equipment, and monitoring platforms
  • Strong IT, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • SMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training Scheme)
