Electrical Supervisor

We are currently working on a commercial construction project (fit-out, shell & core, office block, retail centre, or mixed-use development) and are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Supervisor on a freelance basis.

This role involves overseeing all electrical works on site, ensuring installations are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all electrical trades on site, including electricians and subcontractors

*

Read, interpret, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and designs

*

Carry out regular site inspections and quality control checks

*

Coordinate electrical activities with other trade supervisors, the Site Manager, and Project Manager

*

Enforce health & safety standards, including RAMS, PPE, and safe systems of work

*

Review and manage testing, inspection, and commissioning documentation

*

Monitor progress against programme, identify risks or delays, and escalate where required

*

Assist with snagging, defect rectification, and handover documentation

*

Complete daily and weekly reports and maintain accurate site records (timesheets, materials, etc.)

Required Experience & Qualifications

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Electrical Supervisor role

*

Proven supervisory experience on commercial or industrial projects

*

Valid ECS Gold Card (essential)

*

SSSTS (essential)

*

Strong organisational and communication skills

*

Full UK Driving Licence
