Electrician / Approved Electrician

East Yorkshire (Nationwide travel required)
£35,000£45,000 per year
MondayFriday, 8:00am5:00pm
Overtime available (including occasional weekends)

Trade Recruit is hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Electrician / Approved Electrician based in East Yorkshire, with work across the UK.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring and equipment across various settings. Key Responsibilities

• Electrical installations in commercial and small domestic work and agricultural environments
• Testing, inspection, and fault finding
• Maintenance and repair of electrical systems
• Working from technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and safety standards
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Completing relevant documentation and reports
• Working independently or as part of a team

What Were Looking For

• Minimum 2 years experience as a qualified Electrician
• Ideally experience within agricultural environments
• 18th Edition qualification
• 2391 Testing and inspection experience (preferred)
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Ability to travel nationwide when required
• Full UK driving licence
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
