Electrician - Retail Maintenance (Supermarkets)
Salary: £36,500 to £39,500 Location: Variable Benefits: Company van (private use), door-to-door travel, 25 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off
The Company
Our client is a well-established UK business specialising in retail and commercial environments, delivering fit-outs, refurbishments and ongoing building services support across major supermarket estates. With over 20 years' experience, they provide end-to-end solutions including M&E works, planned maintenance and reactive support to national brands. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Electrician to join their mobile maintenance team.
The Role
Working across supermarket sites, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance to ensure stores remain safe, compliant and fully operational. Key responsibilities:
Reactive electrical maintenance and fault finding Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Repairs to lighting, power, and small electrical systems Supporting wider M&E works on-site where required Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with regulations This is a mobile role covering a regional patch with door-to-door travel paid.
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation 18th Edition (essential) Experience in commercial or retail environments (supermarkets ideal) Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience Full UK driving licence
Package
Salary up to £39,500 40-hour working week Paid door-to-door travel Company van with private use 25 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off Overtime available
