Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team working within a highly regulated environment. This role will focus on the design, development, testing, and documentation of power systems and analogue electronics, while also playing a key role in mentoring and supporting junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of analogue and power electronic systems
- Take ownership of engineering activities across the full product lifecycle, from concept through to validation
- Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation in line with regulatory and compliance standards
- Conduct and support hands-on lab testing, validation, and verification
- Ensure designs meet strict regulatory, safety, and quality requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers
- Support design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as an Electronics Design Engineer within a highly regulated industry (Defence, Aerospace, Space, Nuclear, or Automotive)
- Background in analogue electronics and power systems design desirable
- Experience with lab-based testing, validation, and debugging
- Demonstrated ability to produce detailed technical documentation to regulatory standards
- Solid understanding of compliance, safety, and quality frameworks
- Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
