This job is with Mizuho, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. We are looking for a VP to join our EMEA Securitised Products team in London.
To assist in the origination, structuring and execution of private (on balance sheet) and public securitisations and balance sheet solutions across a broad range of asset classes
To support transaction structuring and execution of private/warehouse and public transactions
To ensure compliance with all policies and procedures,
To assist with day-to-day operational tasks of the desk, including management of insiders lists, updating data bases, liaising with compliance and legal, and organising regular internal and external meetings for the business
4-5 years' securitisation/structured products experience in a front office role
~ Strong analytical / modelling and data manipulation skills
~ Good commercial awareness and presentation skills;
~ Good experience of deal execution (private/ public)
~ Ability to review legal documentation
~ Demonstrate team skills to work with numerous partners (Coverage, DCM, traders, sales , Credit, risk
~ Ideally degree in finance/maths/economics or professional qualification in finance/treasury/asset management
