Got project management / coordination experience? Worked in the nuclear industry? We have an excellent opportunity to join a design team liaising with site engineers to support the delivery of Hinkley Point C's (HPC) design to build projects.
Technical Project Engineer / Engineering Coordinator Location: Hinkley Point C / Hybrid (Note the office is site based) Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 The role We're looking for an Engineer with project experience to join a major infrastructure project, helping to coordinate design, engineering, and construction activities. This is not a pure project manager role - it's ideal for someone from an engineering background (civil, mechanical, electrical, or similar) who has started to move into project delivery, coordination, and stakeholder management. You'll play a key role in keeping projects organised, ensuring teams are aligned, and helping resolve issues to keep delivery on track. What you'll be doing · Coordinating between engineering, design, and construction teams · Supporting the delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality targets · Acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders across the project · Tracking progress and ensuring key activities are completed on time · Identifying risks and helping to resolve issues quickly · Supporting planning, scheduling, and reporting · Helping improve processes and ways of working Experience required: · Background in engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, or similar) · Around 2-6 years' experience in engineering or construction projects · Experience supporting or delivering projects (not necessarily leading them) · Strong communication and stakeholder management skills · Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks · Keen to develop further into a project-focused role Why apply? · Opportunity to work on one of the largest high-profile UK infrastructure project's ever · Clear progression into Project Engineer / Project Manager roles · SWorking closely with the lead organisation in the UK's nuclear industry · Competitive salary and benefits package
