Engineering Manager – Commercial Building Services Central London

Up to £70,000 + benefits

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee technical operations within a prestigious commercial building in Central London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong leader with either an electrical or mechanical background to take ownership of a high-profile site, ensuring the smooth delivery of all engineering services while leading a team of skilled engineers.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, manage, and develop a team of on-site engineers

* Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works

* Ensure all building systems are operating efficiently and safely

* Act as the technical authority on site for electrical or mechanical systems

* Manage compliance, health & safety, and statutory regulations

* Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain high service standards

* Support and drive continuous improvement across engineering operations

Requirements

* Strong technical background in either electrical or mechanical engineering

* Previous experience managing engineering teams within commercial buildings

* Solid understanding of building systems (HVAC, BMS, electrical distribution, etc.)

* Experience as an Authorised Person (AP) or previously held AP status (highly desirable)

* Proven leadership and organisational skills

* Ability to work in a client-facing environment
