What you can expect: Get to know Parkers business, working in the Engineering function Build and develop your expertise in areas such as Engineering Product Development, Operations & Lean Manufacturing, Quality & EHS and Supply Chain. Responsibility for managing your own workload and responding directly to requests Provide a first line of response to queries in your functional area from internal and external contacts Collaborate with colleagues to identify problems that need resolving and seek to find solutions Make decisions in your area of responsibility and communicate these directly Seek all learning opportunities and develop your knowledge and skills required for each of the roles and from people within your wider team. Support the wider team in each placement and participate in lean and business improvement opportunities, including High Performance Teams. Final roles are likely to be in Littlehampton (West Sussex), Alton (Hampshire) or Fareham (Hampshire). Your ideal profile should include: Masters Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing) Ideally, you will possess six to eighteen months worth of industry experience, either from a placement during your degree or from a role in a relevant industry. Initiative, self-starter approach, and strong communication skills Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills Process-driven, organised and disciplined Geographical flexibility to move to any Parker location both during and upon completion of the program.
