Job Title: Engineering Planner Location: Queensferry Salary: 47K-50K D.O.E Department: Engineering / Maintenance The Role My client is looking for an experienced Engineering Planner to join the team and play a key role in driving maintenance performance, reliability, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership position, requiring strong planning capability, system expertise, and excellent communication skills. The role is approximately 20% hands-on, primarily supporting planned maintenance (PMs), with 80% office-based responsibilities, including planning, coordination, and direct leadership of maintenance technicians. Key Responsibilities * Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities using a CMMS, ensuring accuracy and compliance * Provide direct leadership to maintenance technicians. * Execute and embed Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to reduce machine downtime and drive year-on-year improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) * Manage and optimise preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to improve asset reliability * Drive maintenance compliance across safety, quality, and regulatory standards * Lead effective root cause analysis, ensuring issues are resolved permanently rather than repeatedly * Work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to support continuous improvement initiatives Skills & Experience Required * Proven experience in an engineering planning or ...
