Key Responsibilities Lead and support mechanical, electrical and multi-skilled engineers on shift Act as deputy to the Engineering Shift Manager when required Prioritise and allocate engineering work to maintain production output Drive planned and preventative maintenance using CMMS / SAP PPM Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults and breakdowns Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH and permit-to-work systems Support training, mentoring and development of engineers and semi-skilled staff Coordinate contractors and visiting engineers for upgrades and improvement works Maintain accurate engineering documentation and records Promote 5S standards and environmental compliance across the site Candidate Profile Time-served
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer ,
Electrical Engineer
or
Mechanical Engineer Apprentice trained to
NVQ Level 3
(or equivalent) Minimum of 4 years experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong mechanical or electrical background with proven fault-finding capability Previous team lead, supervisory or step-up leadership experience Confident decision-maker in a fast-paced production environment IT literate with experience of CMMS systems (SAP advantageous) Proactive, organised and safety-focused approach We actively welcome applications from engineers with a
