Prospero Teaching is seeking passionate and dedicated English Teachers to work across a range of well-supported secondary schools in Enfield and the surrounding areas. We welcome applications from both Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.

CONTRACT DETAILS

Position: English Teacher

Type of Work: Teaching English across KS3 & KS4

Start Date: ASAP or January 2026

Until the end of the academic year

Contract Type: Long-term / Temp to Perm opportunities

Hours: Full-time, 8:00am 4:00pm (plus parents evenings where required)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS or equivalent

At least 1 year of UK teaching experience (ECTs also considered)

Up-to-date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one

Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
