Are you an English Teacher available for September 2026? A forward thinking secondary school in East London and looking to secure an English Teacher for a one year maternity contract.

The School

This Secondary School is larger than average with nearly 1500 students on roll including 300 in their growing sixth form. The school is a mixed comprehensive school which serves a culturally and diverse East London borough. They have won many awards over the years including Artsmark Gold and Chartermark and most recently International School status.
All students who attend the school have a good understanding of religious and cultural differences and are keen to understand and celebrate one another's beliefs and values.
The school was rates "Good" at the last ofsted inspection with the school going from strength to strength each year. The Headteacher along with the senior leadership team have successfully established a vision of success for every student which has helped raise success also all subject areas.

English Teacher

The school are looking to secure a English Teacher has the ability to teach this subject up to Alevel. The successful teacher will have a proven track record of raising attainment in this subject to be considered for this role. The English department within the school is super experienced and therefore they are open to accepting CVs from both ECTS and experienced teachers.
