About the School
The school is a co-educational academy for students aged 11 to 18. The academy is part of a large trust. The most recent inspection in September 2023 judged the academy to be “Good”. The school emphasises a broad and balanced curriculum across a wide range of subject areas — from core academic disciplines to arts, design, computing and beyond. The academy values inclusion and supports pupils of all abilities. With a modest pupil roll (around 550–580 pupils) and a relatively small school community, the school prides itself on fostering strong relationships, a calm learning atmosphere, and a sense of belonging for every student.
About the Role
You will:
Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in your specialist subject in line with national curriculum expectations. Contribute to shaping and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum as part of a collaborative team, ensuring that all pupils—regardless of ability—are supported to achieve their potential. Monitor, assess and track pupil progress; provide timely feedback and adapt teaching to support individual needs.
