Teacher of English

to join their successful department. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to teach Key Stage 5.

The Role

You will: Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 Create a challenging and inclusive learning environment Assess, monitor, and report on student progress Support pupils in achieving strong academic outcomes Contribute to curriculum development and schemes of work Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management Participate in parents' evenings, meetings, and school events Support extra-curricular English activities

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in English or a related subject Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 Strong behaviour management skills Ability to use data to inform teaching and interventions Excellent communication and organisational skills Commitment to raising attainment and student progress

Desirable

Experience teaching KS5 Experience delivering GCSE English Language and Literature Involvement in curriculum development or extra-curricular activities
