Enterprise Architect - C#/.NET Core | Azure | Microservices | Event-Driven | Fully Remote Enterprise Architect required for a fast-growing global SaaS organisation scaling its platform internationally. This is a hands-on architecture role focused on designing and evolving large-scale distributed systems rather than people leadership. You will work closely with engineering teams to modernise a Legacy monolithic platform into a scalable, microservices-based, event-driven architecture hosted on Microsoft Azure. The company is fully remote, with core collaboration in UK afternoon hours. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain enterprise architecture aligned to business goals Design scalable, secure, high-performance distributed systems Lead monolithic - microservices transformation Implement event-driven and clean architecture principle Define architectural standards and governance Collaborate closely with engineering and stakeholders Evaluate new technologies including AI/LLM integration

Technical Requirements

5-10+ years enterprise architecture/large-scale systems experience Strong event-driven and event-sourced architecture experience Strong C#/.NET Core background Microsoft Azure (AKS, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, SQL Server, Redis) Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, API-driven architecture Experience decomposing monolithic platforms DevOps/CI/CD (Azure DevOps) Strong communicator, technically hands-on Python beneficial (FastAPI/Django)
