As the first point of contact with customers, you'll guide clients through architectural vision, data strategy, and governancetranslating ambiguity into well-designed, scalable outcomes. The Role This is a senior strategic position , one level above traditional architecture. You're not just designing pipelinesyoure shaping how data platforms integrate across an entire enterprise . Be the go-to technical advisor to customer stakeholders, often before delivery begins. Own the strategic design of enterprise-grade Microsoft data platforms (Fabric, Synapse, Azure). Lead the architecture across multiple engagements , balancing capability, performance, and scale. Design with a focus on governance, security, operations , and cross-team integration. Bring clarity and leadership to complex, cross-functional data environments. Mentor data engineers and architects, setting standards and leading by example. About You You are an experienced data architect with experience across large data ecosystems and a consultancy mindset . A deep understanding of Microsoft data technologies , particularly: Microsoft Fabric (preferred) OR Synapse , Azure Data Factory , Databricks (with eagerness to learn Fabric) Strong grasp of platform-level architecture : security, governance, scalability, lifecycle. Proven experience in enterprise architecture how data, processes, and technology align at org-wide level. Experience leading in a consultancy, client-facing, or solution-driven environment . Passion for innovation and continuous learningespecially in Microsofts rapidly evolving data stack.
