About You We are seeking an experienced, people-focused leader who brings both strong technical expertise and the confidence to drive meaningful change. Proactive and solutions-oriented, you will be comfortable innovating and leading others with clarity and purpose. You will be educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent professional capability, gained through relevant qualifications, training, and/or substantial practical experience. With excellent communication skills, you will be able to build constructive relationships with Members, senior leaders, partners, and local communities. You will also bring specialist knowledge and proven experience in delivering food safety official controls within a local authority environment. Above all, you will be motivated, enthusiastic, and ambitious, bringing the energy to lead people through change and the credibility to earn their respect.
