What You'll Be Doing

Leading the estates management function Managing lease events, property transactions and commercial estate matters Ensuring statutory compliance across council‑owned assets Managing and overseeing external contractors and consultants Maintaining and developing the property asset management database Preparing reports and business cases for senior management and committees Providing property advice to senior stakeholders Line managing and developing the estates and asset management team Deputising for the head of service when required Undertaking property inspections and surveys as necessary

What They're Looking For

Strong background in Estates / Asset Management Experience managing teams and external consultants Confident communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders Commercially minded, organised and proactive Full UK driving licence Office‑based with some flexibility Excellent pension and public‑sector benefits
