Estimator / Assistant Estimator – High End Residential

Remote / Flexible

A growing contractor specialising in high end residential projects is looking to appoint an Estimator / Assistant Estimator to support their pre-construction team.

This is a flexible role that can be carried out largely remotely, focused on measuring, take-offs and supporting the pricing of new projects.

The business delivers bespoke residential schemes, including large country houses and prime refurbishments, and has a strong pipeline of upcoming work.

The Role

• Carry out detailed take-offs and measurements from drawings
• Assist in the preparation of cost plans and tender submissions
• Support the 0Commercial team with pricing new projects
• Review drawings and specifications to identify scope and risks
• Assist with subcontractor and supplier enquiries
• Help build up bills of quantities and pricing documents
• Work across multiple projects at pre-construction stage

Requirements

• Experience in an Estimating, Assistant Estimating or Quantity Surveying role
• Strong ability to carry out accurate take-offs and measurements
• Experience within high end residential or construction projects preferred
• Good understanding of drawings and specifications
• Comfortable working independently in a remote or flexible environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
