Job Description

Murray Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator on behalf of our client, a reputable and expanding company within the fit-out and construction sector. \n This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially astute professional to join a dynamic pre-construction team, playing a key role in pricing projects and managing tender submissions. The successful candidate will have strong experience in estimating from first principles and a solid understanding of construction and fit-out project delivery.

\n Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects from first principles, including labour, materials, and subcontractor costs \n Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain up-to-date quotations and negotiate competitive pricing \n Work closely with the commercial, design, and project delivery teams to ensure consistent and competitive tender submissions \n Maintain and update cost databases and estimating systems \n Proven experience in an Estimator role within the fit-out, construction, or refurbishment sectors \n Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (e.g. HNC/HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline is desirable \n Full-time, permanent position based in Lanarkshire \n~ Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm / Friday 8am - 3:30pm \n~ Competitive salary, depending on experience \n~30 days holiday including bank holidays \n~ Company pension scheme \n~ Opportunities for professional development and training \n~ Supportive team environment with career progression prospects
