Estimator – Groundworks, Concrete Frames & Civil Engineering

Location - London

Salary - Depending on experience up to £120,000 plus package

Up Front Recruitment is representing a well-established UK contractor operating at the forefront of groundworks, reinforced concrete frames and enabling works. With a strong secured pipeline of high-value residential and mixed-use projects, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to strengthen their pre-construction team.

This Estimator role offers exposure to complex, technically demanding schemes and the opportunity to work within a structured, professional estimating environment.

The Role – Estimator

*

Preparing accurate cost estimates for groundworks and reinforced concrete frame packages

*

Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation

*

Producing take-offs, pricing schedules and tender submissions

*

Liaising with commercial, technical and delivery teams

*

Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing

*

Supporting value engineering and alternative design proposals

*

Assisting with risk assessment and tender reviews

The Person – Estimator

*

Proven experience as an Estimator within groundworks, RC frames or civil engineering

*

Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing

*

Confident producing detailed, competitive tenders

*

Good communication skills and a collaborative approach

*

Able to work on multiple tenders simultaneously
