Estimator or Senior Estimator
to join their commercial team.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate, competitive, and commercially robust tenders across high-value luxury projects. This position requires a meticulous and commercially astute individual with a strong understanding of complex high-end construction. Depending on experience, the role can be offered at Estimator or Senior Estimator level.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for super prime residential and hospitality projects
Analysing drawings, specifications, and related documentation to prepare accurate take-offs
Managing the full tender process from initial enquiry through to submission
Producing bills of quantities where required
Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
Attending site visits, pre-tender meetings, and client interviews
Identifying value engineering opportunities while maintaining design integrity
Risk analysis and allowance assessment
Liaising closely with Commercial, Pre-Construction, and Operational teams
Supporting post-tender negotiations and contract award processes
Maintaining and developing strong relationships with key supply chain partners
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within a main contractor environment
Experience working on
luxury / super prime residential or high-end hospitality developments
is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of construction methods, high-end finishes, and bespoke detailing
Experience pricing projects in London
Commercially astute with excellent numerical and analytical skills
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and work to deadlines
Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent) preferred
