Exam Invigilators - Bury Flexible Work | Peak Periods: May-June, October & February

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting dependable Exam Invigilators to support a secondary school in Bury during key examination periods across the academic year.

This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, short-term work within a school setting, particularly during the busy exam seasons in May and June, with additional opportunities available in October and February.

The Role

As an Exam Invigilator, you will help ensure that examinations are carried out in line with official guidelines, maintaining a calm, orderly, and supportive environment for students.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Supervising students throughout their exams
• Distributing and collecting examination materials securely
• Clearly reading and delivering exam instructions
• Ensuring all examination rules and procedures are followed
• Addressing procedural queries (not subject-specific questions)
• Maintaining a quiet and well-managed exam setting

Working Pattern

• Casual, flexible work based around exam timetables
• Morning and/or afternoon sessions available
• Increased demand during GCSE, mock, and resit exam periods

About You

We're looking for individuals who are:

• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Confident working with secondary-aged students
• Calm, observant, and attentive to detail
• Flexible during peak exam periods

Previous experience is not required as full training will be provided. However, experience in schools or working with young people would be advantageous.
