Cambridge Were a much-loved speciality coffee shop in Cambridge, and were looking for an experienced Café Manager to lead our busy front-of-house. Youll be someone who truly understands speciality coffee and thrives in a fast-paced environment - keeping service running smoothly, your team motivated, and customers coming back. This is a hands-on role for someone whos confident running day-to-day operations - from managing rotas and stock levels to making sure the team is working well and customers are looked after. With plans to expand into food service, youll play a big role in shaping and launching this exciting chapter of the business. What youll be doing: Running the daily operations of a lively coffee shop Managing a brilliant team of Baristas and front of house staff, including rota planning, support and training when needed Overseeing inventory and supplier relationships Helping shape the lunch menu once service begins Jumping in where needed, whether thats on the coffee machine, the till, or the floor Handling customer feedback and resolving complaints Keeping health and safety, hygiene, and compliance front and centre Youll do well in this role if you: Have experience managing a café/coffee shop Are confident leading a team and setting the tone for great service Are comfortable with the practical stuff - staff scheduling, supplier orders, margins, and shift planning Know your way around health & safety requirements and food hygiene standards Enjoy getting stuck in, problem solving and keeping energy levels high Take pride in great coffee and even better customer experiences Have strong barista skills (not essential, but definitely a plus) and can support staff training What we offer: A full-time role with a competitive salary, based on experience The chance to shape how the café runs day-to-day and contribute to future plans A supportive team, regular customers, and a place where your ideas are welcomed
