Experienced Civils Estimators required - All levels - Permanent - Leeds - Water Framework - Civils - Graduate - Senior\n\nYour new company\n\nYou will be joining a civil engineering contractor based in Leeds operating within the water industry. This multi-accredited and established contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water industry, delivering infrastructure schemes, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are seeking experienced Water Estimators to join their team from Graduate level to Senior.\n\nThese are full-time permanent positions based out of their Leeds office with hybrid working (3 days' office/site, 2 days' remote).\n\nYour new role\n\nAs an Estimator, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:\n\nPreparing detailed cost estimates, including materials, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs\nAssisting in the preparation of competitive bids to allow final review\nPerforming quantity take-offs of civil works (structures, earthworks, pipelines etc.) from design plans\nAnalysing potential risks, challenges and uncertainties during the estimation process and incorporating contingency plans or pricing\nCollaborating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services\nEnsuring all estimates comply with local regulations, safety standards and project requirements\nSuggesting cost-effective alternatives and value engineering strategies\nCoordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity of scope, costs and timelines.What you'll need to succeed\n\nIn order to be successful, you must have:\n\nMinimum 3 years' experience in cost estimation, with familiarity with water infrastructure or heavy civil construction\nSound understanding of construction methods, water infrastructure components, material and labour costs\nProficiency in estimating software (e.g.
