*Job Summary*

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MOT Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using both hand and power tools. As an MOT Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring vehicles meet safety and environmental standards, providing peace of mind to our customers.

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles in accordance with MOT regulations * Identify any mechanical issues or faults during inspections and provide recommendations for repairs. * Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and any necessary documentation. * Ensure the workshop is kept clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations. * Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and any required work.

*Qualifications*

* Proven experience as an MOT Tester or in a similar role within the automotive industry. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively. * Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during inspections and repairs. * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. * Relevant certifications or qualifications in vehicle maintenance and repair are advantageous.

Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5.30 . Saturdays 8.30 -11.30 (optional if required @ overtime rates)
