We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of our unique entertainment venue. This includes a private cinema, four cutting-edge sports simulators, three interactive darts bays, and multiple multi-functional television displays with four-way screen-splitting capabilities. The successful candidate will take ownership of all technical systems, venue infrastructure, and contractor relationshipsensuring the venue operates to the highest standard and delivers a seamless experience for guests and staff alike. Key Responsibilities Venue & Technical Operations Oversee daily functionality and troubleshooting of: Sports simulators (e.g., golf, football, multi-sport) Interactive darts bays and supporting software Cinema projection, AV systems, and sound Television displays with four-way split screen and live input switching Monitor and maintain lighting, electrical, heating, and ventilation systems. Coordinate with external service providers for equipment servicing and repairs. Ensure proper calibration and routine checks on all AV and simulator equipment. Assist with setting up and turning over event spaces and private bookings. Facilities Maintenance Conduct regular inspections of the venue to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Manage and document all maintenance tasks, preventative schedules, and compliance checks. Handle emergency repairs swiftly and effectively, minimizing downtime. Maintain accurate inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables. Health & Safety Oversee venue health & safety compliance, including fire safety and risk assessments. Lead or support emergency and evacuation procedures. Liaise with local authorities and ensure certifications are up to date (e.g., PAT testing, HVAC servicing). Team & Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with the operations and events team to ensure technical readiness for bookings and promotions. Supervise or coordinate with cleaning, security, and specialist contractors. Train staff on the basic operation and troubleshooting of AV and interactive systems. Requirements Proven experience in a facilities or technical management role, ideally within a hospitality, entertainment, or leisure venue. Strong working knowledge of AV systems, digital signage, and interactive gaming equipment. Practical understanding of electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on, can-do approach. High attention to detail and commitment to health & safety compliance. Ability to manage contractors, budgets, and maintenance schedules effectively. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required. Desirable: AV/IT qualifications or certifications.
