Were looking for an Imports Coordinator to join a Imports & Duty team, supporting the smooth and compliant importation of goods into the UK. What Youll Be Doing As an Imports Coordinator, youll play a key role in ensuring goods are imported efficiently and in line with UK customs regulations. Youll liaise with customs authorities, import agents, and internal teams to ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods, helping to maintain production schedules and avoid unnecessary costs. Key Responsibilities: Operate and manage a Duty Management System in compliance with HMRC requirements. Prepare and submit monthly customs returns and import instructions. Ensure accurate and timely filing of import entries to support team KPIs. Maintain records for audit and trade compliance purposes. Liaise with suppliers, shipping lines, and hauliers regarding goods movement. Support internal and external customers with customs guidance. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN principles.
