Fibre Termination and Splicing Engineer - Industry leading salary, DOE

We are seeking splicing engineers for our team. We have a large contract in the Hull area with other customers & clients we service in the wider Yorkshire area. The successful candidate will need to be able to splice fibre cables in a timely and efficient manner, as well as experience of reading basic network design drawings, schematics, etc. The candidate will be working with equipment such an Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) and Fibre Fusion Splicers along with other diagnostic devices.
Indepth knowledge required covering the use of fusion splicing and test equipment. We use Fujikura and Sumitomo splicing equipment. We also utilise Viavi and EXFO OTDR equipment. Salary dependent on industry accreditations and experience. Responsibilities: * Splice fiber-optic cables.* Dress cables into termination, panels, splice pods, etc.
* Read and interpret splice matrix documents, network drawings and schematic diagrams.
* Work in confined spaces, such as manholes, cable chambers, etc.
* Read and interpret documents and schematic diagrams.
* Splice fiber-optic and copper cables.
* Fault find and trouble shoot both passive and active networks. Job Type: Full-time Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year Benefits:
