Location: Site-based, Bridgwater, Somerset - Mon-Fri Status: CONTRACT - Inside IR35 Duration: Approved until 31dec26 (renewable) Reports to: Construction Superintendent Morson Edge are working with a major player in the Energy sector who have a current (contract) requirement for a Field Engineer - Welding Inspector. The successful candidate will join an established site-based team on a nationally significant infrastructure Project in Somerset. Scope The Field Engineer will perform Surveillance to give confidence that the activities are performed in accordance with the Contractor's Work Information. He / She will form part of a team with the primary responsibility of ensuring delivery of the Quality needs, targets and upholding contract related expectations. Typical Accountabilities (not limited to): Check the Works are constructed in accordance with the Contractor's Work Information and escalate any deviation and non-conformance request requirements submitting details of any NCR requirements to assist in the issuing of non-conformance reports.
