Summary
We are currently recruiting for Civil & Electrical Field Managers to be responsible for day to day safe operation of site and provide supervision of all activities for ongoing New Connection & Capital Works. The Field Manager will ensure that all activities on site are undertaken in accordance with statutory requirements and per customer/ company policies and standards for our clients sites across the Northern Powergrid (NPg) network.
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
Ensure Company Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality policies are followed.
Adhere to PPTW process.
Manage and control site safety and operations.
Ensure personnel under control are trained and competent.
Recognise best practices and promote innovation ideas.
Support incident investigations.
Promote Freedom values.
Ensure all records/registers are kept up to date on a daily basis.
Manage and Deliver the Connection Workstream
Outage and work planning
Performance of site teams.
What we’re looking for :
Experience working within the utility industry
Previous experience working within NPg is preferential
UG Electricity Network Experience
CDM Site Management Experience
Excellent organisational & programming skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels
NEBOSH/SMSTS Level Safety accreditation - Desirable
Emergency First Aid
Manual Handling
NRSWA
DNO Authorisations - Desirable
Full Driving Licence.
