THE CLIENT Our client is a privately owned fire and security manufacturer with a strong and growing presence across the UK. They supply a comprehensive range of fire, security, CCTV and related products through
fire & security merchants, electrical wholesalers and contractor customers . The brand is already well established in distribution, trusted for product reliability, and known for being easy to do business with. Recently launched product ranges are now
actively disrupting the social housing and contractor markets , and demand is accelerating quickly. Established distribution customers are actively pushing these products because their own customers are asking for them and cannot get enough. This is not a challenger brand trying to get noticed. This is a proven business gaining serious traction.
THE ROLE This is a field-based Sales Executive role covering Scotland. You will take ownership of an established territory and existing customer base across
fire & security merchants, electrical wholesalers, installers and contractors . The role is focused on
building momentum , increasing product adoption, and capitalising on strong pull-through demand. You are not walking into a cold patch. You are walking into a market that is already moving.
Key responsibilities include: • Managing and developing relationships with fire & security and electrical merchants • Working directly with contractors and installers on product selection and usage • Driving uptake of newly launched, high-demand product ranges • Supporting customers operating in the social housing and contractor sectors • Increasing account value through consistent presence and service • Owning your territory commercially, with full responsibility for performance
This is a
relationship-led role , where service, credibility and follow-through matter just as much as the product.
THE CANDIDATE This role is aimed squarely at
experienced fire and security sales professionals . You may currently be selling fire detection, CCTV, access control, emergency lighting or related products into merchants, installers or contractors. You understand how this market works, how projects flow, and how important pricing, availability and support are to both merchants and installers.
