Field Service Engineer

Coffee Machine Manufacturer Location: Carlisle Package: Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 basic (DOE) Bonus: Potential annual bonus of 5% of basic salary Company Van: Available for private use Expenses: Company credit card and fuel card provided Pension: Employer contribution of 10% (no obligation for employee contribution) Additional Benefits: Death in Service (4x annual salary) Paid travel time (£20 per hour) 25 days annual leave Private medical insurance Full uniform and PPE provided Laptop and company phone Sick pay Full extensive product training Overtime: Weekend rota (1 in 4): £26 per hour Bank Holiday rate: £35 per hour + £50 per day standby payment Weekday overtime: £26 per hour (no limit on weekday overtime) Job Overview As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our commercial coffee machines across a variety of customer sites, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, offices, and retail locations. In this role, you will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and customer training to ensure our machines operate at peak performance. The Person We are looking for engineers with a strong technical background in electromechanical servicing, ideally within the coffee industry or as a field service engineer. Candidates with experience in related sectors will also be considered, including: Vending machines Commercial catering equipment Hot taps and plumbed water coolers White goods Warewashing equipment This role requires strong customer service skills, as you will interact with clients daily. You should also have a solid mechanical and electrical aptitude to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
