We have a number of permanent and contract vacancies for multiple businesses across the UK and overseas.The below job description will outline this position of: Field service engineer (generators) This Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Generator Technician position involves preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs on generators, UPS systems, control systems, and other critical power equipment. Responsibilities include load bank testing, site surveys, inspections, installation, and commissioning of power systems, as well as deploying temporary or hire equipment on customer sites. Travel around the Kent area will be required.HSB Technical's client is an established and well-regarded business entity.Duties and responsibilities of the Field service engineer (generators) :Perform preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and repairs on generators, UPS, control systems, and related equipment Conduct load bank testing, site surveys, and inspections of critical power systems Assist with the installation and commissioning of various critical power equipment Install temporary or hire equipment, including generator sets and UPS, on customer sites Plan, schedule, and oversee onsite work, ensuring safety compliance and risk assessments are carried out Qualifications and requirements for the (insert job title):Experience working on generators or other critical power equipment, or in a similar engineering environment Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) - desirable Full UK driving license Ability and willingness to travel across the Kent area This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical Ltd who have been appointed to act as a recruitment partner for this role.TPBN1_UKTJ
