An innovative global engineering company is looking for a

Field Service Engineer

to support the installation, commissioning and ongoing service of advanced high-speed printing and converting equipment. Please note that this position involves Extensive UK & international travel.

This is an exciting, customer-facing role for a technically strong engineer who enjoys travel, problem-solving and working on complex machinery in real-world production environments. Whilst the organisation are based on the south coast, successful candidates can be based anywhere in the UK.

The Role:

You will deliver high-quality field service support for sophisticated machinery, working directly with customers to ensure maximum equipment performance and uptime.

Key responsibilities include:

Diagnosing and resolving planned and unplanned maintenance issues Installing and commissioning advanced flexographic and digital presses Carrying out scheduled servicing and machine inspections Supporting machine testing and acceptance activities Identifying opportunities for spare parts, upgrades and service contracts Contributing to improvements in service processes and documentation

What Were Looking For:

HNC, Degree or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical engineering At least 3 years experience in a technical engineering role Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer-facing ability Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently in the field Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively in the UK and overseas
