We’re on the hunt for a Field Service Engineer to join our client's growing metrology and calibration company looking after the UK Market.\n\nThis is the perfect opportunity for someone who’s keen to learn, grow, and develop their skills in a dynamic industry with plenty of support and on-the-job training.\n\n What You’ll Be Doing:\n\n * Carrying out calibration, testing, and servicing of a wide range of precision measuring equipment.\n\n * Visiting client sites across the Midlands to install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment – some further travel\n\n * Working closely with senior engineers and mentors to build your knowledge in metrology and calibration standards.\n\n * Keeping accurate records and completing calibration certificates to meet compliance requirements.\n\n ‍♂️ What We’re Looking For:\n\n * A hands-on, practical mindset with a passion for engineering.\n\n * Some experience (even through a placement, , or project) working with technical equipment, instruments, or machinery is an advantage — but not essential.\n\n * Strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn new skills.\n\n * A full driving licence (essential).\n\n * Great communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service to our clients.\n\n What’s On Offer:\n\n * Starting salary up to £42,500, depending on experience.\n\n * Comprehensive training and mentorship from experienced engineers.\n\n * Career progression opportunities as you develop your skills.\n\n * Company vehicle and expenses covered for fieldwork.\n\n * Pension scheme and other benefits.\n\nThis is an exciting chance to join a leading metrology company at a time of growth and investment in our client's team.
